The overall objective of RCM is to promote reef conservation and sustainability through community mobilization and engagement. To establish a long-term sponsor led scheme for reef-monitoring to support local island community based reef monitoring SCOPE OF WORK 1. To carry out regular reef check surveys across the Maldives. 2. To build a reef check network by conducting reef-check ecodiver training programs (at local islands and resorts), 3. To execute creative and innovative reef awareness programs. 4. To collaborate with environmental based organizations and relevant stakeholders in the Maldives.
